Bus Company NJ Service RepresentativesNew Jersey - things to do

Feb 24, 2013 - Atlantic City attractions

The seaside resort city of Atlantic City in New Jersey is a year-round destination for party bus visitors of all ages. In addition to arcades, piers and casinos, Atlantic City offers cultural and historical attractions like the Atlantic City Historical Museum and Art Center on Garden Pier, the Atlantic City Aquarium and Absecon Lighthouse.  A great way of getting in and around Atlantic City is with a bus, coach bus, party bus, mini bus, passenger coach or school bus rented from Bus Company New Jersey.  A charter bus or party bus makes travelling through New Jersey to Atlantic City easy and fuss free, letting you and your rental bus group concentrate on having a good time.

Start your rental bus visit with your first stop at the heart of Atlantic City, the Atlantic City Boardwalk.  The famous Atlantic City Boardwalk offers access to resorts, hotels, restaurants, shops and casinos.  Several piers, like the famed Garden Pier, branch off from the Atlantic City Boardwalk, and contain various attractions and eating establishments.  Charter bus visitors can take the Boardwalk Walking Tour to learn about the hub of the seaside resort community such as why it is unique, why it was built and also take a tour of the factory where the famous James' Salt Water Taffy is made.

Another point of interest in Atlantic City for charter bus visitors is Steel Pier.  Originally constructed in 1898 as a showcase for world-renowned entertainers and novelty acts like the Human Cannonball and the Miss America Pageant, Steel Pier today is a hub of family entertainment in Atlantic City.  Steel Pier features 24 rides, prize wheels and games, a food court and free admission.  This is a great place for a rental bus group to stop and while away a few hours, enjoying a day by the New Jersey shore.

Atlantic City Aquarium, located on Historic Gardner’s Basin, has always been a rental bus visitor favorite.  Featuring more than 18 exhibits in its 25,000-gallon tank, the aquarium has more than 100 different kinds of aquatic wildlife from the mid-Atlantic, coral reefs and tropical rainforests.  Marine exhibits include six clownfish species, angel fish, black sea bass, cownose rays, loggerhead sea turtles, jellyfish, eels and seahorses.  Charter bus visitors can watch daily feeding shows, with divers feeding sharks and other aquarium creatures.

Much of Atlantic City’s best shopping is easily accessible to charter bus visitors from the boardwalk.  Three major shopping areas anchor the boardwalk's offerings.  The Pier Shops at Caesars offer rental bus visitors high-end shopping that includes name brands like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Tiffany and Co.  For outlet shopping, The Walk, located two blocks off the boardwalk, provides outlet stores for brands including Nautica and Timberland.  The Quarter at Tropicana provides another collection of stores that includes Swarovski, The Spy Store and The Hat Emporium. For a more classic taste of Atlantic City, the boardwalk also provides numerous local shops that stock salt water taffy, souvenirs, T-shirts and beach equipment.

For a great time at Atlantic City, give Bus Company New Jersey a call and arrange an awesome time seeing the sights and attractions in a rental bus chosen from their fleet of fully equipped rental buses.
